Sometimes all you are left with is Nothing. But remember, that Nothing has a lesson to teach. And that lesson will led you to be something. Something incredible. Someone you would want to be.
“Nothing” is not just a perception. It exists. The idea of “nothing” stems from the notion of a collection. For example, let’s consider eggs in a basket. If you have no eggs then this is analogous to the “empty set”. The number of eggs in the basket is zero. So we can think of “nothing” as a term describing the set itself, whereas “zero” is a term not describing a set, but an element. Although “nothing” is not really a mathematical term but it is the contents of the empty set. So, you can see that the empty set itself is not nothing as it is a perfectly valid set.
There is an interesting suktam in Rig Veda ─ Nasadiya Suktam (after ná ásat, or “not the non-existent”), also known as the Hymn of Creation. It is the 129th hymn of the 10th Mandala of the Rigveda (10:129). It is concerned with cosmology and the origin of the universe. It starts with:
नासदासीन्नो सदासीत्तदानीं नासीद्रजो नो व्योमा परो यत् ।
किमावरीवः कुह कस्य शर्मन्नम्भः किमासीद्गहनं गभीरम् ॥ १॥
This may be translated in English as:
“There was neither non-existence, nor existence then
There was neither the realm of space nor the sky which is beyond.
What stirred? Where? In Whose protection?
Was there fluid, bottomlessly deep?”
We often say “I got nothing left in my life now. I am lost. Broken. I won’t be able to do anything bcoz I have nothing left.” Even if we have a family, after a break up with our partner we say that we got nothing left in our life. “I failed. I got nothing left with me now. ”
All we need to do Is do a PhD on the “nothing in our life” and we will find the hidden path to something.
That’s what I meant in the post.
Incredible!

True, nothing can lead us to be something.
Nothing exists, maybe just like anything?
If it’s something, then it can’t be nothing! 🙂

“Nothing” is just our perception. With time we realize that it was something.
