Baffling Species

Humans are strange indeed.

They dance with you when the music is on

But leave you stranded when the wild jungle roars.

Not a ship will stop by to rescue your starving soul

Not letter written to the bored.

How friendly they seem when the moonlight shines

But shapeshifts to monsters under the moonless sky.

Strange,

Strange indeed…

How words are moulded into inhuman fights

How griefs are transformed into heartless crimes.

Strange how innocent they are born

With round eyes and giggling smile.

Little munchkins growing up to be ruthless monsters,

Eating hearts and stealing white spirit in jars.
