Pocket full of sunshine

I carry my sunshine in my pocket
Dusting it over the gloomy faces I meet along.
In return they smile and share their part of sunshine
Making me feel richer, happier and much more than just Fine.

Sunflowers are my favourite
They broaden my smile.
They teach me to stand tall
To defeat the riles and viles.

Their vibrant colour lift up my mood,
They distract my sunken time to brood.
They bring me confidence when I feel let down,
Sunflowers are sunshine to the gloomy towns.

And so I shall gift some to my people,
To lighten up their days formed dull.
To perk them up for a bright happy day,
Roses? Lilies?  Orchids?
Nah!
I will buy some lovely bright sunflowers today.
