A little frustrated and lost was she,
Abandoned by the world, fallen to her knees.
Though she regained her courage and drove away the soreness of her life,
The truth that she was away from him – haunted his wife.
She was not the only disheartened one,
Her husband too was lost to the sun.
They left their physical existence both at the same time,
But lost in eternity, “each other” they didn’t find.
Why didn’t they meet in the afterlife they shared?
Was metaphysical love a false hope they feared…
Wailing alone though the darkness they wandered,
Never finding each other, lost to the forsaken slumber.
