The Black Canvas

I coloured the canvas black,
Using all the dark colours I had in my shack.
Wasted strokes, energy and hopes,
With grave concern to shroud it… I colored it a robe.
A black robe veiling the ruined painting of my life,
Camouflaging the demolished shades and strokes of my interlaced vibes.
All the colours i grew up with is now  concealed with an unshared symbolic hue.
Its all dark now… my canvas, palate, hands…and brushes too.
